The Mary Kay Smith Women's Athletic Fund Established in August, 1998 after her death. Mary Kay deeply touched the lives of hundreds of students and athletes at Stamford Catholic/Trinity Catholic High School during her 37 year teaching and coaching career. Not only was she the pioneer for the highly successful women's athletic program in this school, but Mary Kay was also a role model, a teacher, a friend, and a confidant for our adults of the future. This award was created at the request of her family. The first award was presented to Krista Griffiths (TCHS 2000) at the awards assembly in May 1999. |
