2005-2006 Annual Appeal
November 21, 2005
Dear Benefactor / Parent / Alumnus / Friend of Trinity
Trinity Catholic High School continues to be the most exciting story in the Diocese! This year, 98% of the Class of 2005 attends college. 150 academically qualified freshmen replaced 68 seniors, and most importantly 100% of our students learn Christ every day.
Our biggest supporter, Bishop Lori, is very much aware of our short and long term strategic plans and is behind us 100% to assure Trinity meets and exceeds all of its goals. He has also committed to supporting and attending our Gala on April 1, 2006.
It is with great pride that I extend my heartfelt thanks to all of Trinity's generous contributors and supporters. AS President and CFO of Trinity, one of my most important responsibilities is to define both short and long term needs of its constituents. The Annual Appeal, the centerpiece of all of our fundraising activities, enables the school to maintain tuition costs at a minimum as we seek to maintain a qualified and dedicated faculty, update our technology on an annual basis, and improve our aged facility.
Revenues from the Annual Appeal directly and immediately meet specific operating needs which cannot be underwritten by tuition revenue alone. Tuition is $7,700. The actual cost to educate a student is over $10,000. The Appeal truly bridges the gap between tuition charged and actual costs to educate our students.
The success of the Annual Appeal for both participation rates and dollars raised will reflect the faith that parents, alumni and friends of Trinity have in what a Trinity Catholic High School education provides. Your contribution to this year's Annual Appeal will be used to enhance the academic and spiritual environment at Trinity Catholic High School. Please consider giving to the Appeal at whatever level you are able to and feel it is appropriate to do so.
Sincerely,
Kevin T. Burke
