CREATIVE CRUSADERS

Creative Crusaders is a club where members get to use creative talents for the benefit of others, learn new skills, make new friends and have fun. A list of projects is posted for the school year.  Traditionally the group makes one hundred Christmas stockings for area hospitals.  Parents and students fill the stockings prior to December 15th with coloring books, crayons, puzzles, etc.  Some members are fabulous bakers.  They bake cookies for the soup kitchen.  One project we especially enjoy is a baby shower for Jesus, held in the spring.  We gather with our baby gifts, wrap them and bring them to Malta House.  One particular skill the group learned last year was how to knit.  A dozen pair of baby booties were donated to a neighboring church as a gift to the newly baptized.
