Individual accomplishments over the years have resulted in All-City, All-Conference, All-State, and All-American recognition for members of both girls and boys teams. Trinity Catholic's dedicated and experienced coaching staffs have helped foster the development of many student-athletes who have taken their skills to NCAA Division I, II, and III colleges and the professional ranks. In recognition of their stellar efforts, 5 former and present coaches have been inducted into the FCIAC Hall of Fame.

Trinity Catholic students have a wide selection of sports offerings throughout the school year. Girls teams include soccer, cross country, volleyball, basketball, softball, tennis, and cheerleading. Boys compete in football, soccer, cross country, basketball, ice hockey, baseball, golf, tennis, and lacrosse.  Most of the boys and girls sports are offered on three levels – freshmen, junior varsity, and varsity.

Athletic Goals and Objectives

The athletic program at Trinity Catholic is an integral part of the school's educational program. Interscholastic competition provides students with physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual experiences which benefit not only the individual, but the school and total community as well. Participants have an opportunity to acquire qualities of total fitness, self discipline, loyalty, and sincere devotion to a cause greater than themselves .

Participation in the athletic program is a privilege granted students in return for compliance with certain rules and conditions. Accordingly, there are high expectations for athletes regarding their personal conduct on and off campus. Student-athletes represent Trinity Catholic High School at all times. If their conduct at any time is judged to be beneath the high standards set by the school, participation in the sport may be jeopardized.

The ultimate goal of athletics is to see each participant become an effective citizen in a competitive, democratic society through the accomplishment of specific objectives.

1. Learn teamwork - Develop self-discipline, respect for authority, and the spirit of hard work; place the team and its objectives higher than personal desires.

2. Strive for success - Learn to accept defeat by striving to win with earnest dedication; develop a desire to excel to the best of one's ability.

3. Display good sportsmanship - Learn to treat others as one would wish to be treated by developing emotional control, honesty, cooperation, and dependability.

4. Continue to improve - Establish a goal by diligently practicing good habits and characteristics.

5. Enjoy athletics - Acknowledge the personal rewards derived from sports and give sufficiently of self in order to preserve and improve the athletic program.
